Waves make landfall in a Cornish cove

I could and often do, watch waves for hours. I usually take a flask of ground coffee and a tub of tasty food. It’s my simple utopia.

Understanding a little of how and where waves will create photogenic formations combined with their position relative to the light and wind, are valuable insights.

However, the best predictions can fall short of our imagined visual excitement for a multitude of reasons beyond our control.

The best we can do is stack the odds in our favour and venture to those locations that afford the best predictions. Perseverance will I assure you, pay off.

I love being as low to the energy as possible which often means finding a spot that enables a lower perspective, while staying safe.
