Another highly enjoyable day shooting on a coastal location and these, just a few of the images taken.
An overcast and misty day lowered the contrast on our shoot for the intriguing Penzance based clothing retailer, The Market Cartel.
I often favour natural light that is softer and less directional, simply because it is malleable to manipulation.
On this shoot I used one Elinchrom Three which is a 300 ws portable flash, and a 1.3 meter strip softbox. I love rectangular modifiers (softboxes) that rotate. They’re versatile and quickly enable different lighting patterns.
My camera is a Fuji XT3 with 50mm – 140mm lens (70mm – 210mm equivalent to a 35mm or full frame format) My aperture was set to f2.8 throughout the day.
