When solo travelling, you meet lots of fascinating people who have stories of incredible journeys and adventures.
Marina is one such person. A digital nomad who lives her best life travelling and experiencing our beautiful world.
Marina had already discovered this dilapidated but awesome old building on the outskirts of Hoi An on Vietnam’s central coast.
On showing it to me, I instantly knew that Marina within oraround this structure had the potential for beautiful images.
The east coast of Vietnam is gifted with the most refreshing and cooling breezes that come off the South China Sea. These breezes can be especially strong mid to late afternoon.
With hair swirling wildly as though alive, it added a flow and energy to images 1 and 2 within this rustic and concrete scene.
Image 3 is more sheltered, so less energised by wind, but some might feel more evocative with an ominous creature who looks to be advancing to cradle and protect her.
