I have always loved the principle of just one light. There is after all, just one sun. The sun produces the most exquisite light that any of us know and drives our inspiration to learn.
One Elinchrom Three (portable flash head) illuminated the interior of a large umbrella lined with a white matt material which reflected a soft and matt light quality onto Demelza.
The light was positioned at 45 degrees relative to our model’s position and at a height of 35 degrees above her head, angled downwards.
This directional light with its well-defined highlights and shadows and a pleasing falloff, complimented Demelza’s wonderful bone structure.
