It is often said that how an image looks should give way to how it feels. This image speaks of aggression and threat. Even the jagged rock as a compositional line suggests a sharp, foreboding danger. Even the hint of green does nothing to soothe its raging hostility.
This was taken from a safe distance using a focal length of 140mm on a Fuji XT3, which is a crop sensor camera. So, an actual focal length of 210mm based on a 35mm or full-frame aspect. Longer lenses will compress perspective, which in this image has shortened the middle section between the rock and the wave face.
