I have just written a fairly, comprehensive review of the impressive Elinchrom LED 100C lights for the ProfessionalPhoto.Online magazine which will be out soon. As a photographer who loves flash, I didn’t expect to be quite so captivated by them.

Whilst the weather was beautiful, it presents multiple challenges to portrait photographers. Especially from noon until 2pm in summer on cloudless days when the lights direction, intensity and contrast is very high. This is generally considered a hostile lighting environment.
These portable lights performed well in restoring a pleasing degree of dimension, texture, aesthetic and balance under arguably difficult conditions. The upcoming article will provide a detailed insight to this very enjoyable shoot.
I live my best life when emersed in photography and since becoming semi-retired many years ago I have considerable reduced the rates of my services.
